Inspired

Maybe its the new year-maybe its the creative juices that begin flowing after becoming a new mom for the second time-I am not sure. All I know is that I woke up this morning feeling inspired-and was overcome with the desire to start a blog. Now, mind you I know nothing about this blog stuff. I was asked to be a guest blogger a few times for the magazine where I work and that was fun-but other than that I am a blogging novice.

I have an idea about what I would like to write about-mothering, being a doula, educator, and birth advocate. I will probably do a lot of ranting and raving (my husband will be thrilled that I have another outlet besides him) about things that motivate or enrage me.

I guess the bottom line is, I have a lot to say, a lot to share, and hopefully I can figure this whole thing out. I am sure I will be a bit rusty at first-its been a while since I have taken pen to paper, or I guess in this case-fingers to keys but I have a feeling this could be the beginning of something good.
